As many people have seen department stores such as Kmart, Big W and Best ‘n’ Less often stock cheaper dancewear items. We understand that as little ones start out it can be hard to justify the cost of Energetiks or Bloch uniforms. Unfortunately at this time none of these department stores stock baby blues, so if your child is in a ballet, jazz or combo class you will need to purchase a dance-brand leotard. However, for those taking Acrobatics or Irish classes, there are black alternatives to be found. Our recommendation is the Best ‘n’ Less black leotard. Although this will stretch out and wear out much faster than an Energetiks leotard, it is a good starter for those just starting out. Please do not send your child in a Kmart leotard. These leotards have not been designed with any practicality, and the shape often does not fit correctly on students' bodies. Big W does not stock studio colours.
