Production

Are you looking to start your competition experience, or are you already experienced and looking to take your skills to the next level? Our Productions are open to students of all ages and abilities. Our production is a large 5-minute piece incorporated around 1 theme. Throughout this piece, students will tell a story using a variety of genres including Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop and Acrobatics.

We are excited to be bringing Productions back to Momentum in 2024!

What is offered:

A large group piece with no limit on performers
Be a part of multiple sections of dancing in a range of styles
Competition and Stage performance opportunities are offered to all troupe dancers
1 technique class weekly at no extra charge

What is required:

Students must participate in at least 1 correlating recreational class: Jazz Section requires Jazz Class enrolment.
Lyrical Troupe requires Ballet or Contemporary Class enrolment.
Students must attend 1 Production class per month.
Students must attend 1 competition and 1 performance as outlined below.

Costs involved:

Company Class - $15 Per Lesson**
Costume Hire Fee - $40-$50 per costume
Competition Entry Fee - Varies per competition
*Summer Camp - Students under 11: $80 per student
Students 12 & Over: $95 per student
*Subject to change pending number of enrolments.

Summer Camp - Weekend in March
Star Struck Rehearsal - August
Star Struck Competition - August
Royal Show Rehearsal - September
Perth Royal Show Performance - September Holidays (1 Day)
